Jill Sanchez-Myers joins the faculty full-time after serving as an adjunct professor at the Charlotte School of Law for one year. Professor Sanchez-Myers has practiced in the area of social services law for the past ten years, both as a Staff Attorney for the Gaston County Department of Social Services and a solo practitioner. She represented the county in child abuse and neglect proceedings, as well as adult incompetency and guardianship proceedings and child support enforcement. While in practice, Professor Sanchez-Myers successfully argued before the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the North Carolina Court of Appeals and served as a guest lecturer for a guardian ad litem program. Professor Sanchez-Myers received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati.
